THE X FACTOR UK RE-SIGNS JUDGING PANEL

THE X FACTOR UK RETURNS TO AXS TV THIS FALL;

COMPETITION SERIES SETS JUDGING PANEL FOR NEW SEASON

Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger, and Louis Walsh Sign Up As Judges For Season 14

LOS ANGELES – June 19, 2017 – With production of its landmark 14TH season underway, THE X FACTOR UK announced today the return of one of its most popular judging panels, as fan-favorite music mogul and X FACTOR creator Simon Cowell will once again be joined by music manager, TV host, and original X FACTOR UK judge Sharon Osbourne; as well as chart-topping songstress Nicole Scherzinger; and esteemed music manager Louis Walsh. Beloved UK TV personality Dermot O’Leary is also back, serving as emcee for the weekly festivities. The upcoming season is set to make its North American debut this fall, only on AXS TV.

For over a decade, THE X FACTOR UK has set the benchmark in finding worldwide superstars, with X FACTOR UK artists selling more than 200 million records worldwide and earning 200 Number One’s. The program’s rich legacy includes international boy band sensation One Direction; soulful GRAMMY®-nominated songstress Leona Lewis; multi-platinum pop star Olly Murs; and dance-pop quartet Little Mix, who were the first group to win the competition. Additionally, THE X FACTOR UK is one of the first stops for major recording artists to promote their latest hits, with AXS TV viewers being among the first in America to enjoy Adeles “Hello”; Coldplay’s “Adventure Of A Lifetime”; Taylor Swifts “Shake It Off”; Maroon 5’s “Animals”; Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”; One Direction’s “Where Do Broken Hearts Go,” performed live for the first time on TV; and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” among many others.

THE X FACTOR UK is a tremendously popular global series that has resonated with our American audience over the past three years—so much so, in fact, that it has quickly become one of the most popular shows on our network,” said Evan Haiman, Vice President of Programming and Development at AXS TV. “A big reason for that is the judging panel, they give the series unprecedented charm and personality and the viewers enjoy that so much. We are excited to have Simon, Sharon, Nicole, and Louis back on board, as THE X FACTOR UK returns to AXS TV for the fourth consecutive year.”
