CULVER CITY, CA – Tuesday, March 1, 2016 – Sony Movie Channel for a fully loaded Manday lineup, featuring eight hard-hitting Martial Arts crime epics every Monday in March. The event includes a two-pack of Jackie Chan actioners on March 7 at 10 p.m. ET, as well as a night of fistfights starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Michael Jai White on March 14 at 10 p.m. ET; a block of Jet Li favorites on March 21 at 10 p.m. ET; and a pair of kung fu comedies on March 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
SMC’s Martial Arts March programming lineup is as follows:
BLACK DRAGON (1989)—Mon., Mar. 7 at 10 p.m. ET
Fan favorite Jackie Chan stars and directs in one of his most cherished films, as a naïve farm boy who becomes the leader of a crime syndicate after helping a dying gang boss.
SHINJUKU INCIDENT (2009)—Mon., Mar. 7 at 12:20 a.m. ET
Jackie Chan stars as a desperate mechanic whose search for his missing fiancé puts him in the middle of a brutal gang war—led by his lost love’s mob boss husband.

Action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as a reformed counterfeit fashion designer embroiled in a massive CIA sting involving secret agents, the black market, and the Russian mob in this lively thriller that also stars Rob Schneider and Paul Sorvino.

To fulfill a promise to a dying friend, ex-con Michael Jai-White enters the seedy world of underground fighting. With Julian Sands, and MMA stars Gina Carano, Kimbo Slice, Bob Sapp, and Maurice Smith.

Having reached the final level of marshal arts mastery, New York City prodigy Taimak goes on a quest to acquire “The Glow” and unlock his inner power. The film also stars Keshia Knight Pulliam and the late pop star Vanity in her first major role.
KUNG FU HUSTLE (2005)—Mon., Mar. 28 at 10 p.m. ET
Stephen Chow’s arrival in a Chinese slum inadvertently sets off an explosive battle between the Axe Gang and the slum’s resident Kung Fu masters, in this whimsical hit.
